Hello, I’m Evan Wilson, a contemporary blacksmith creating hand-wrought art in forged metals.

My focus is on private, corporate and liturgical clientele, translating their needs into striking, one-of-a-kind expressions in steel, iron, bronze and copper.

If you are interested in commissioning work, please reach me by email through the link below.

Bio

Evan lives in Spicewood, Texas with his wife and two sons.

From 2010 - 2013, Evan served in humanitarian organizations in Afghanistan and Texas. With Austin-area non-profit Mobile Loaves & Fishes, he founded and directed the Community Forge, a blacksmithing program empowering the formerly homeless to earn a dignified income through forging and selling products.

Evan received his technical metalworking foundation from Austin Community College’s Architectural and Ornamental Metals program, and has rounded it out through collaborations, assistantships and workshops with a variety of American, Canadian, Italian and Mexican smiths.
